Welcome to the Hygiene Museum
We are pleased to invite you to the 17th International Colloquium on Paratuberculosis to be held in the
German Hygiene Museum in Dresden from June 7th 2026 to June 11th 2026.
Dresden being the working place of the German pathologist Heinrich Albert Johne, who contributed decisively to the first scientific report about paratuberculosis in 1895, we will be ‘back to the roots’.
The conference will provide a comprehensive insight into the latest findings on paratuberculosis, regarding such topics as
- Epidemiology and MAP Diversity, MAP in Environment
- Pathogenesis
- Diagnostics and Biomarkers
- Food Safety and Public Health
- Economic Consequences, Management and Control Plans.
The social programme will offer many opportunities to make and maintain contacts with colleagues and friends.
The venue itself not only offers an excellent conference ambience, it is also an extraordinary museum that impressively combines science, health, culture and art.
